Ultra Violet. Yesterday, Pantone Universe revealed the 2018 Pantone Color of the Year. We see this moment as a time to reflect on the the year that has passed while looking forward to new beginnings.
The 2017 COTY was a vibrant yellow-green reflective of revival and renewal. Not only a trend but a colour that spread awareness on global concerns such as climate change and health.
Looking now to 2018, Pantone has reached new heights with the provocative and thoughtful colour – Ultra Violet (Pantone-18-3838). Ultra Violet is a bold hue representative of counterculture, individuality, and mindfulness. A truly visionary colour that evokes energy and empowerment for the future.
We are looking forward to integrating this deep colour into our homes whether it be statement pieces like a Womb Chair in Purple Boucle Wool, or subtly with saturated accents. We are excited to see Ultra Violet make its impact both psychologically and physically in our homes and minds. Here’s to an inspired new year!
