Dinner by Design

Vancouver's annual design show, Interior Design Show (IDS) West 2016, was held this year at the Vancouver Convention Centre with affiliate events taking place throughout the city. The event took place over 4 days, with a kickoff happening on Thursday, September 22nd. It was a grand affair and Rove Concepts was excited to be part of the action in our beautiful city.

Before the official opening of the show, we were invited to take part in an exclusive pre-party hosted by The Social Concierge at the prestigious Harbour Events Centre. This year we partnered with local design firm, Chambers and Stark to create an imaginative tablescape for Dinner by Design. "Dinner by Design brings together internationally celebrated designers and local talent to create three-dimensional dining installations that awe, inspire and delight. These extraordinary dining environments—from the lavish and romantic to the outrageous and whimsical—set the stage for fun and fascination over 6 days at 2 locations."

Chambers and Stark were the masterminds behind the beautiful designs featuring furniture and accessories from a number of partners who collaborated on the project. In this immaculate staging, you can see our bold black Compas Armchairs playing contrast to the long live wood table selected by the designers. The centerpieces and dining sets are also from our collection; you can find everything from the stunning copper mugs to the warm grey ceramics in our accessories collection from Kure. Our Lantern Table Lamps were also a big hit, providing a warm ambiant glow to the overall inviting design.
